Step Feeders
Elmech step feeders are ideal for slender and long parts. It’s the best suitable option where we need to feed heavy parts compared to bowl feeders. Step feeders singulate parts and transport them up in a series of steps. They are then oriented using linear tracks. Each step captures parts that would fit on the step in an ideal pre-oriented position, and then carried to the next stage up. The pneumatic actuator can be adjusted to different speeds, and the pressure controller can be adjusted to the speed at the end of the stroke to decelerate the parts allowing a soft drop into the orienting track.
